Building Day Part 2

Here are lots of pictures of the actual workday. You can see that William had the idea to build a chute for the gravel to travel the 90 feet from the top of the path to down into the woods. They dug out and built wide steps that they outlined with railroad ties. Then they put weed barrier down. After the steps were installed they filled in with gravel. Lots and lots of work. They were really tired when they got done!

The day started cold and rainy. It poured all night the night before and there were tornadoes. Luckily the rain quit and they had cloudy cool weather while they worked. Perfect for working hard outside!

Bandit wants to point out that he worked all morning. Catching baby bunnies and eating their heads off is very tiring!
WHAT??? He was just protecting everyone from the notorious Tennessee attack rabbits!

Harrison loves getting into the spring and mucking around. They dug it out even more and put the stones back as best they could. Some were too heavy to move. The Pioneer Towles Family would be impressed, I'm sure!
